We will design and sew garments using four natural fibers (cotton, linen, wool and silk) to create four items for a complete outfit.  Drafting simple patterns and sewing by hand with some machine sewing will give us an opportunity for meditative work and a chance to center ourselves.  Throughout the year we will experience different sewing techniques, plant dyeing, embroidery and nuno felting to create our own unique fabric for our garments.

Each Saturday art and/or movement classes will be offered to accompany the handwork sessions and bring enlivening impulses to each individual as well as the group.
