In a modest way, we are beginning to offer fiber craft kits, specialty yarns and patterns for our knit-wear designs for sale on-line. We see the On-Line Store as an opportunity to extend our practice, research and teaching ideals to a larger community, and we hope to stimulate creative capacities, teach new skills and foster an appreciation of natural fibers, beautiful forms and colors. In short – we would like to share with you our love for the creative process of fiber transformation.

The Fiber Craft Kits available for purchase have been created with care and a gesture of reverence by the co-workers and volunteers of the Studio.

Our original knit-wear designs are created by Renate Hiller and Mikae Toma, the Fiber Craft Studio co-directors. Please check out our Gallery for some examples of their work.

For all our items only the finest natural materials are used, many of them dyed with plant colors. They have been sold at our Studio and at fiber festivals with great success.

As part of the Threefold Educational Center the Fiber Craft Studio has a non-profit status; the revenue from your purchases will directly support the Studio’s research and teaching activities.
